The name "CHROISM" combines "chrome" and "ism."
It is a coined word inspired by the Japanese pronunciation of "kuro" (black)—the color of the medium I work with—together with "chrome," derived from the Greek word chroma, meaning "color," and "-ism," representing an artistic philosophy or aesthetic movement.
Together, the name embodies my own artistic philosophy: a black aesthetic and a philosophy of color, reflecting my perspective on beauty and artistic expression.

— Why I Paint Sad Expressions —
I find that expressions of sadness or loneliness reveal deeper layers of a character's background and humanity compared to expressions of happiness. These poignant emotions have a powerful allure, encouraging viewers to explore the more profound aspects of the figures I portray.

— The future of CHROISM —
CHROISM continues to create artworks not merely as objects, but as expressions that embody and resonate with your emotions and sensibilities.
